OT, it creeped me out a bit, but not as much as I expected honestly. I heard Google is programming it to announce to phone calls that it is an AI prior to starting the conversation because of people feeling weird about it.

What amazes me is how fluid it all is. You can barely distinguish it from a real person.

What amazes me is how fluid it all is. You can barely distinguish it from a real person.

Having an AI use speech disfluencies like "um" and "uh" really does make things sound a lot more natural and hides any stiffness of the conversations, doesn't it?
