MM2 is the most overrated MM game, but at least it sucks less than MM1. The series didn't start to get good until MM3. MM2 still had the shitty movement physics from MM1, which made them feel like you were walking on ice the entire game. Plus it lacked the cool slide mechanic.

This shit is dumb, why X and not X2 or X3. Or a english version of Megaman and Bass that isn't the GBA version.

Megaman 1 is great, people don't like it because they are pussies who can't get past the yellow monster without cheating. Stupid bitches.

1 is the best, 4 is the worst. 2 and 3 are tied. 5 has good music but feels soulless. 6 had that power armor to get the kids excited.

In this particular case, it's definitely X > 2. MMX may be rather barebones, but at least its movement physics aren't archaic garbage like those of MM2.

The best music is on 9. There i said it. 6 is also under rated with the music.
But it don't matter since the Zero series was the best in the franchise.

MM1 is honestly the only classic Mega Man game I care about, the sequels feel bloated with too many "features". MMX1 is a masterpiece, it's so good it's on the SNES Classic Edition.
