Nausea were awesome. Did you know Amy, the singer, was married to Roger Miret from Agnostic Front?

Yeah man, and Nausea had a track on the classic NYC hardcore comp "The Way It Is" along with Warzone, Side by Side, Sick of it All (when they rocked), Breakdown, etc. And speaking of heavy music in general, we can't forget the greatness that was the Cro-Mags circa "Age of Quarrel!"

Heh heh, don't forget the Crumbsuckers.

And, although not from NY, still part of the same era/ scene, Bad Brains.

Yeah, Crumbsuckers definitely, although I wasn't huge on "Beast on my Back."

Man, Bad Brains. I have so many memories of Bad Brains records from way back when. When I first heard "Pay to Cum" I must have been about 13 and thought it was the craziest, fastest shit ever. Which it is of course. That and Slayer's "Angel of Death" off of Reign in Blood. Dr. Know was/is a fucking GOD. So many great songs on Rock for Light - Banned in DC, Attitude - list goes on. I don't listen to them much anymore, but that's what I grew up with, and then Discharge, Doom, etc the list goes on.

I declare that you sir, have fine taste in music.

Discharge and Doom, wow. I have everything Doom ever put out, they, and the Electro Hippies, are my two favourite crust bands ever.

Discharge I love as well, but I can't say I'm too interested in all of the Dis- clone bands. I live in Japan, which is the Dis- clone band capital of the world!

I also declare sir, that your taste in music is equally fine!

Hey you listed Suicidal Tendencies!!! The badest assed mosh pit I have ever seen was at thier concert in Chicago in 1990 when they opened for Queensryche at the Rosemont Horizion. It was bad assed, dudes jumping off 25 foot balconies. They jammed the fuck out!!!

It's hard to decide what to place in my Top 5. I think a Top 10 would be better, but anyway on w/ a Top 5:

(in no particular order)

- "Symphonies of Sickness" - CARCASS
- "Welcome to Hell" - VENOM
- "WarMaster" - BOLT THROWER
- "How the Gods Kill" - DANZIG
- "To Mega Therion" - CELTIC FROST

MOST DEFINITELY

Love em or hate em; METALLICA (M.O.P. is the best album ever!!!)
2 Megadeth (technically most impressive)
3 Iron Maiden (respect for these old rockers!)
4 Death (RIP Chick Shuldiner, your music was among the best ever....individua thought patterns)
5 Testament (speed metal at its best)

So there you go. I saw Metallica last weekend in Holland. They still know how to go nuts and psyche up the crowd.
