So after a few months of using this, I gotta say that it works but it's a total nightmare for games with kick-harnesses simply because there's no way to remap controls.
So for Street Fighter games, when using the genesis controller, the punches are mapped to ABC and kicks to X-Y-Z, it's a real fucking bitch.
I just dug out my MK3 board and high punche/kicks are mapped to A and C, low kick, run and low punches to X-Y-Z. It's impossible to do anything right because it goes away 20 years of playing mk3.
If there was a simple way to switch the inputs for ABC and XYZ, everything would be perfect.
The Supergun works alright for neogeo or other games that dont require 6 buttons.
The creator went for some weird custom db15 neogeo format so it seems that you can't use the undamned usb decoders, from what I have read online.
this, combined with the fact that the creator is ignoring emails makes this supergun a wasted opportunity.
RGB's supergun looks amazing, and is compatible with that undamened usb controller, so remapping controls would be a breeze. Unfortunately, he just posted that the next batch is going to be "much later this year". I guess I'm stuck for now..
