...in your neighbours plant pots....

On a more serious aside... Glad they caught the scum...

Unsure what the policy is in other countries but the UK has started a DNA database of past and present crimes... and anyone convicted of ANYTHING is ran through it...

SO... there are cases where people are caught because a family member got convicted of Speeding... or... Public Disorder Offences... or such like...

I have no sympathy for rapists, so, if the police can catch them indirectly when they commit another, unrelated crime via DNA records, I'm all for it.

It's really weird how the Uk has become the #1 police state in the west.

Having grown up there, I would say... it's not really surprising.

However, I'm not sure what your point is here. I don't think serious crimes like murder and rape should have a statute of limitations. It would be interesting to know the circumstances surrounding the neighbor dispute such as whether or not the DNA sample was voluntarily given.

The UK Government has a policy now of DNA testing of people committing ANY crime... so essentially... you have no choice in it...

My personal view is I currently have no issues with that... I aint got anything to hide...

Does these revelations mean, we'll finally get to know the owner of all the hairy stuff left in Yaton carts?

Does that mean convicted, arrested, stopped in the street, or what?

Arrested or above.

There have been challenges in court, I'm not quite sure how that panned out.

We are one step short of being micro chipped like they do to a cat.
