Vertical Lines on Neo Geo AES

Hey guys,

Picked up an AES, its a very exciting moment.
One problem I have encountered though is these vertical lines, sort of make the image look like a tapestry.

Some details about my set up:

- It happens with every game

- Connected to an LCD

- Scart connected to a "HD Upscaler" like this:

- Scart cable is OEM

- No vertical white lines when connected via component

Anyone know what would cause this? I'm hoping its not the console!

Thanks Heihachi, so its called "jailbars" I see. My serial is 190K approximately so its late (series 7). Article says it applies to series 6, anyone know if it includes 7 as well?

Ok so appears mine is a 6, so i cut those 3 traces and sure enough, problem solved. Took 10 mins and the picture is 100% better now! Thanks for your help Heihachi!
