Yeah, it's not really cost effective to grow common peppers like jalepeno's, so I go for more interesting varieties.
I currently have two Thai pepper plants that i started this year, and a Japenese Shishito's that are doing quite well.

Chilly Chilis are kind of cool. Like a larger upright Thai pepper

I’ve also grown Carolina reapers and ghost peppers. Didn’t eat a single one lol

I'll stick with birds eye chilis and jalapenos, fuck eating a ghost pepper or a reaper.

Yeah man they’re crazy. I’d rather eat some datura than Carolina reaper. Easier to handle.

I gave them to my neighbor, apparently he ate one whole

I don't have much of a green thumb, never grew a thing from scratch. Only kept plants that were bought from the store and already grown. But I respect the knowledge and patience in this.

All my peppers are alive and well.
I just pruned them back a bit to push the growth hormones around instead of just the top. Most are growing quite bushy already, so i'm hoping for a good yield.

I'm going to try pruning a few peppers when it starts flowering to see if the plant devotes more energy to the surviving peppers. That's how it's supposed to work, but I have always been to tentative to do it before.
