Just McDonalds. The only redeeming factor to McDs is the consistency, I can count on a solid sausage biscuit anywhere I go.

However the true breakfast of champions is indeed biscuits and sausage gravy. Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel.

Close second is chicken fried steak with gravy and side of hash browns.

Well, we want to know whether we're ordering a muffin, roll or scone. Simple as that.

Tbe closest we come to calling a cookie a biscuit is concerning dogs. We give mutts dog biscuits.

I like the Hardee's breakfast menu pretty well. Actually, that is about my favorite fast food place. When I get old I'm going to go sit around there every morning with the paper and talking bullshit with my other old person friends.

This is the proper way to have biscuits with breakfast. Picture above is from Denny's, but down south there are a million better places to get it.

    Sausage gravy.

It is delicious at most family style restaurants around the south. Usually served as shown over biscuits.

Fewer places will offer red eye gravy, served with country ham over grits. Also fantastic.

Both will kill you in short order.

Sadly, I no longer live in the south and can't personally avail myself of such fine breakfasts as those pictured. Those are just lifted from the Google machine.

You have to scroll past a lot of hipster bullshit to find a good diner picture of sausage gravy and biscuits. A good diner pic of red eye wasn't preceded by a thousand cool kid imitators, so I guess they haven't found out about that one yet.

And dammit, now I need some country ham, fried in a pan with Coke.

Hardee's biscuits are indeed legit...they're freaking delicious. Add their sausage gravy and you got one filthy, but delicious meal.

Yeah I'm not sure I could eat that, is that yellow shit grits? I have no fuckin idea. Piss poor effort at a 'big' breakfast though.

This is equally as terrible for you but a hell of a lot more appetising.

Yup, grits, which are good when you load them up with butter and cheese.

I'd eat this breakfast too, although tomatoes, mushrooms, and especially beans are not common US breakfast items. Black pudding is never in any American meals. Still, I'm taking that country ham plate first.
