    Sengoku 3 (NCSX - 2001) $300?
I bought mine from NCSX. KOF '00 was $320. Sengoku 3 should have been the same as well, but they did run a special when Metal Slug 3 was $280.

From an older thread back in 2004
I was just looking through some old stuff and I came across two receipts from Visual Rush. They were the place I bought a lot of my AES games back in 94.

    First one: Dated 4/07/94
    Title: Art of Fighting 2.........189.99
    s/h...................................... 18.00
    COD.................................... 5.00
    Total...................................212.99

    Second one: Dated 10/25/94
    Title: King of Fighters '94.......189.99
    s/h.......................................... 16.00
    Total.......................................205.99

KOF 98 US from a US Ebay seller in '98
Metal Slug 3 JPN from RavenGames in 2000 more than likely paid the same as Frazer99 - 375
KOF 2000 JPN from Buyrite in 2000 - Got sent in a standard quite large shipping box - no inside packing - luckily survived unscathed
Metal Slug 4 JPN from NCSX in 2002
Rage of the Dragons US from the NeoStore in 2002

Yes, Neo carts were best bought upon release... of yet another "next gen" console.

I bought Metal Slug 2, RB2, Blazing Star, and Waku Waku 7 from Buyrite back when they were still a thing. I think they were like $250 each.

In the early/mid 90s, I wasn't totally sure what the Neo Geo was exactly, except really expensive. It was relevant after that, but never really on my radar, didn't actually see one in person until well after there were no more officially licensed games coming out.

All Neo Geo Pocket games I bought as they came out back in 1999 to early 2001. Other than that I had Japanese versions of Sega Saturn ports of some games (most notably KoF games), and later on some PS2 ports when they came out. Never had an AES and only knew 1 person who had one. I would play arcade versions on mvs systems now and then and loved it.

I've pre-ordered Fatal Fury 2 eng AES, when it finally show up at my dad's working place, I stop everything to go get it, went home and played the hell out of it!! Then after 3-4 hours, I took a rest and when I boot it up again I witness the terrible missing sound bugs that the first run of Fatal Fury 2 games had. The shop didn't offer any replacement or any refund so I was very disappointed that the first new game I've bought was buggy for $325CDN. But nonetheless, this game still is a classic in my mind!
    Gatsou & Caska will dominate!!!

Back then most people didn't know anything about video games and didn't care either. Their ignorance made it quite safe to buy home cart stuff w/o being exposed as that crazy freak one certainly was in those days... good days, that is.

I bankrupted myself and my parents back then just to get an AES and Blue's Journey. I was obsessed with the arcade game in a pizza place and I think it may have been overall more frugal to get the home version at the time considering how many quarters that fucker ate.

Lol for Blues Journey?? Good game tho

As for me I just looked at screenshots and wanted Sam Showdown. Too poor. I managed to save up 75 for import Sf2 on Super Famicom. That was as good as it got at the time.

Not the same but I have bought almost every NGDEVteam game. I really rate their games.
