I remember my brother and i sold 20 megadrive games to have samurai shodown 1 !
First one I bought new was Jpn Metal Slug X from NCS. I paid COD with a money order. $292 total. haha.
Bet people thought you were crazy spending that much on a game..little did they know
I bankrupted myself and my parents back then just to get an AES and Blue's Journey. I was obsessed with the arcade game in a pizza place and I think it may have been overall more frugal to get the home version at the time considering how many quarters that fucker ate.
