With the upcoming release of the 30th Anniversary Street Fighter collection, I was wondering how many times I've bought Street Fighter 2 over the years. I'm currently sitting at 28 times. This is counting all releases from 2 through Ultra 2 and includes collections like Capcom Classics. Sadly, this doesn't count when I've sold and repurchased the same game years later.

**Edit** 29, forgot the Dreamcast port
**Double edit** Here's my list. I'm up to 31...sigh.
Spoiler:

SNES: 2, 2 Turbo, Super 2
Gen: 2 CE, Super 2
GB: 2
3do: Super Turbo
PSX: Street Fighter Collection 1 and 2, Capcom Generations 5
Saturn: Street Fighter Collection, Generations 5
GBA: Super Turbo Revival
DC: Super Turbo for Matching Service
DOS: 2 and Super 2
Xbox: Capcom Classics Collection 1 and 2, Anniversary Edition,
PS2: Same as above
XB360: Hyper Fighting, HDR, and Capcom Digital Collection
PS3: HDR
PSP: Capcom Classics Collection Remix and Reloaded
Switch: Ultra 2
PCB: Super Turbo, Hyper Anniversary

How many for you?

SF2: Turbo & SSF2 on SNES
SF2: CE on Genesis
SF2 on Gameboy
SF Collection on Saturn
Capcom Collections 1 & 2 on PS2 (I believe both have versions of SF2 on them, but I may be remembering wrong)

Alot Bro. I think I've Owned/Own every single Street Fighter game on every major platform. Not Counting shit like 3dO, I've emulated but Never owned a 3dO. And not only did I buy U.S releases, but I would also buy the Japanese Import versions of the same game and that was for the Genny/Md, SNES/SFC, PSX, Saturn, PS2, Original Xbox, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox Live, PSN.

Still own a CPS1 Hyper Fighting Board and CPS2 Hyper Anniversary board along with other Cps2 boards like Super Turbo. Probably the same as you DZ, maybe around 30-40 times, I think lol. I can never get enough Street Fighter though. It's probably the only gaming franchise that I've stuck with since I first played in the arcades when I was a kid.

I've probably bought the game about 20 times... and will buy it again next year.

No one has mentioned two of my favorite versions, the PCE port and the Rainbow hack for arcade pcbs. I have a bootleg arcade PCB with the rainbow hack.

3 times. Once on Genesis for $5, once in the PS2 collection, and the other on the Playstation store when Udon handled the art. I've never much cared for SF2, I'm an Alpha 3 and SF3 fan.

Oh man ... Too many to count. I bought it three times on PS2 alone. Come to think of it, it's ridiculous to see this game still going. What's even more ridiculous are the HD versions no one seems to be playing. At least I haven't seen any tournaments that use these. Which game does the SF2 community always default to?

My personal favorite is Hyper Fighting. I like the smaller roster, the speed is perfect. Hard to find a emulator that could get the speed right. It's nice and simple. I think Super Turbo is the more popular game and the one lads frequent at tournaments.

I also love Alpha 2 and 3S.

I got Special Champion Edition on Genesis as a gift when I was a kid.

As for what I bought myself:
World Warrior and Turbo on Super Nintendo
Super Turbo on 3DO
Street Fighter Collection on Saturn
Anniversary Collection on PS2

And whenever I get around to buying a Switch I'm sure I'll pick up Ultra.
