I’ve had my 6 slot for about 3 years now and the worn CP always bothered me. I finally got around to stripping/sanding it down and having it powder coated (so pretty). I got my neighbor to help Mig weld one of the supports and a couple of the loose bolts. I also put in new IL buttons and sticks. My kids thought the left and right players needed “mans” so, I got those as well.
I need to make WTB post for a better looking CPO.

Got any pics of the finished control panel after paint with new sticks and buttons installed?

Looks nice and clean! I still need to get my control panel stripped and then powder coated.

Thanks man! I put a thick coat of CitriStrip on the CP so that it wouldn’t dry overnight. The next morning I just scrapped the paint off like butter. I did go back over it with a sander to get rid of the rust, but the paint came off super easy.
