Malcolm Young, AC/DC founder, dead at 64

Malcolm Young died today. He was the co-founder along with brother Angus. Angus was the one who got the attention, but Malcolm was the driving creative force behind the band. He wrote most of the lyrics and all of their iconic guitar hooks.

I was just listening to some AC/DC classics the other day. To me, AC/DC helped define their era. RIP.

Saw this coming, but not any less saddening. Seems like he's been out of AC/DC for some time now due to health problems. Angus might have the technical skill to rip a solo, but without Malcom's riffs underneath them, it's just not the same.

Sad news indeed. AC/DC maybe should have called it a career a while back. Only Angus is left! :(

AC/CD isn't one of my favorite bands. But holy shit have they influenced most rock/metal/punk that has come after them. So I respect the fuck out of those guys.
