The world's biggest Magnum P.I. fan (yes, there is such a thing) has been crying since I texted him yesterday with the news.

    Go easy, bro.

In the Ikari Attack Helicopter over the Philadelphia Seaside with Johnny Maximum, Robert Garcia, Mr. Krabs, a drunk Majors Clark Still, and a Mean Guile to defeat evil, then eat cheesesteaks and water ice afterwards

Rest in peace, John. May Zeus and Apollo guide you into the golden void

Loved the show a lot and still watch it from time to time.

Man, you know you are getting old when your old faves keep dying left and right...

Same here. Saw a lot of episodes when I was a kid - rewatched some when I was older, just to find out they were about quite different things than I remembered ^^ still great.

Well, quite the small turnout here... at least I was expecting a post from SouthtownKid too...

Yeah, that's a great thread right there and Mr. Hillerman was a supporting role master: The Day of the Locust, Chinatown and all Bogdanovich classics.

    Rest in Peace.
