What a truly wonderful thread that shows a lot of thought and concern for a fellow human being that you're
    thinking about.

You have a special gift my friend.

    Hate is a strong word

But when you walk past people

And they do not say 'hi' or 'hey' or 'hello' or even a nod

Chances are you are not high up on there on their like list.

I realized, that there's a far better folktale to share, one that will surely cheer you up...

Once upon a time, on a server far, far away before the video game world became as it is today... there was a semi-famous forum called DeAdelKonige. It had rules so erect, so rigidly tight, that if you'd put coals in their proverbial arse, after a short while, they'd turn to diamonds.

The sheer existence of such inflexible dogmas induced the arising of resistance, a simple lovable guy called Balg, the naughty kid. It happened, it did not happen, it perhaps could have happened that Balg did everything he could, to provoke the mighty mods standing behind the much-hated rule set, and he became a renegade. They did not really mean it, but they said that it slowly but surely was enough and banned Balg.

Now, many years after, when the time was so old, that there was not even anything called 'the old days', Balg, the banished, Balg, the renegade... eventually became one of those parochial middle-aged men, he so desperately fought against on DeAdelKonige. Misusing his old-tymer rank to yell at clouds, he discovered his younger feisty self, a fresh young member that was like a mirror image of the old gone bubbly Balg.

This sudden, smack confrontation with his past, incarnated through another member, another virtual human being on a forum that has became his home away from home, shocked Balg and bore a profound repulsion. Needless to say, no one, not even Balg, understood these feelings...

On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero and you will eventually become the very thing you hated the most in your past glory days of eternal youth and serotonin ejaculations. Well, history likes to repeat itself, so do morals of tl;dr yarns.

I would certainly say Hello, Hi, or a Nod to you in passing Lone Sage. Hell, you might even get a big fat hug. But Alas, I fear the gesture would not be returned, if not punished.

Thank you, I did enjoy that! Well worded, great effort, appreciated. I'm sure there's a true core () to it, too.

Chances also are they're afraid, just hoping you won't notice them, cowering in fear.

I truly don't even care. If someone doesn't like me, it's not a dealbreaker. Everyone is allowed an opinion of someone whether it's right or wrong.

Actually I think that "unfollow" on Facebook is more devious. That way they still think you are friends but you can't see any of their stuff unless you visit their page.

I only secretly hate rude fuckers who don't hold the door open for me or someone else when they know someone is right behind them. My parents never taught me this, I do it as common courtesy but some people are just selfish shits.

I saw some asshole do this a few days ago to a guy in a wheel chair. I ran over to open the door for him. I wish it was legal to smack people around when they act like assholes.
