the connectors to the arcade stick are they DB25 or DB15? i found a decoder online, but i dont know if it's the right one

Some were DB15, some were DB25.

Holy shit - haven't thought about Supernovas in a LOOOONNNGGG time. The ones I had way back were DB25 iirc

Yeah I think the early ones were DB15, then they switched to DB25. DB25 is definitely more common from what I recall from all those years ago. That was the first SG I was ever exposed to back in the 90s. The fact you could play arcade boards at home blew my mind.

Most were DB25 but most importantly is that not all had 5v hooked up to the controller ports.
