You know all those cart games with save batteries for the SNES, Genesis, NES? Why not have a service where you replace the battery backup? I haven't looked into it, but doesn't it take some solder soliders to do it? I can't solder worth a damn. I can think of a few games I'd like to do this to - Crystalis for NES and Super Ninja Boy for SNES.

I was considering doing this, but with FRAM chips as a replacement. That way, they'd never need batteries again. They make parallel FRAM that's just as fast as the old SRAM, and basically pin-compatible (except for some issues with failing to deassert ~CS between ~WE or something).
