Oh man, you need to watch that one again because that movie is incredible.

It really is. It’s a much better experience in French with subs too.

Follow it up;

Inside
Them
Frontier(s)
Martyrs
Calvaire

...and some classic 90’s French horror - Baby Blood

Yeah, Haute Tension is dope. I was being a dismissive douche.

Martys was terrible. Gore porn to the Nth degree. The French stuff is hit or miss.

A Snake of June I love Shinya Tsukamoto and find this more disturbing than the Tetsuo movies.

Perfect Blue Probably my favorite anime. Too bad Satoshi Kon kicked the bucket so early. He is sorely missed.

Stoker Loved everything about it. Obviously gorgeous.

I really enjoyed High Tension, until the end. That ending was so bad, in my opinion, that I have never gone back and re-watched it, despite loving the other hour and 20 minutes of the film. I really should give it another watch and see if my opinion has changed. It's been a long time since release.

My favourite french horror is definitely Inside. That movie is incredible.

You guys are making me dig for some good ones:

The Beyond (Lucio Fulci)
Last House on The Left (The original Wes Craven one)
Maniac (Original, but the remake wasn't bad at all)

I want to get back to shitty movies lol

I hear good things about Lake Mungo, but I would need to hunt down a copy first.

If you like Italian horror check out the films of Bruno Mattei.

I enjoy his work immensely.

And although I don't particularly like it, Hell of The Living Dead is a VERY guilty pleasure.

just watched the black well ghost. supposed to be a documentary but it's a fan made shaky camera haunted house movie. it was pretty entertaining but didn't like the fact that it pushes really hard to convince the viewer that it's a real documentary of a real haunted house.

but it was short and sweet and i enjoyed it way more than the blare witch 2016. recommend to all paranormal activity fans.

;) Hell of the Living Dead has some of the best quote lines out of any shit-grade Italian horror.

Lia Rousseau: [as a couple zombies are approaching them] They must be monsters! Look at their faces!

Max: They could be drunk.

And agreed with the Maniac remake. Elijah Wood was very surprising as Frank. Great film and great soundtrack!

Dark as fuck!

Tomorrow’s film is lined up; Henry - Portrait of a Serial Killer.

Haven’t seen it in years but it’s in my top 10, easily - dark, brooding and unforgiving. Michael Rooker is scary.

I didn’t realise Tom Towles who plays Otis passed away back in 2015. My fav role of his is in Fortress with Chris Lambert.

can you sons a bitches at least write a single sentence about whatever you watched at least yeesh

List threads are the worst, yet at the same time very popular although most don't realize no one ever reads lists unless the writer wrote something about it

godufkcingdAMMIT terry you can't just say you watched four movies and then say jackdiddly about them

list threads have the potential to ebe good but when it's just about losers listing shit they own/played/watched then it doesn't amount to much

Okay. Tremors 1 is godlike. The old west one is also awesome. Otherwise, straight shit.

I wish Michael Gross was my dad. Also the little girl with the pogo sticks mom is in Twin Peaks and the dude kid was Fred Savages' older brother.

Fuckface.

Love the 'new wave of French extremity!!'

Lately I've been into occult themed horror films, my faves being:

The Ninth Gate
Wicker Man
A Dark Song
Ghoulies/Ghoulies II
The Gate
Warlock
The Witch

"I'm an insect who dreamt he was a man and loved it. But now the dream is over...and the insect is awake." Perfect length and pacing, incredible effects, Goldblum and Davis, and I've always loved that line, for reasons unknown to me.

Speaking of Cronenberg...

Dead Ringers- Holy shit hadn't seen this in years. Jeremy Irons is at the top of his game.
