It's on Amazon for like $14, is this a good one to jump in on.

I haven't played anything in this series since the original.

It's perfectly fine but it's already outdated. You have to spend another $20 to get to Xrd Rev 2 which has two more characters and the big balance patch.

Edit: It's also $8 on PSN right now if you don't mind digital.

Do you not like it? I have a bunch of friends who are super into it. It looks great and it seems like it plays pretty smoothly...

I got it on Steam during their summer sale. I like it. I haven't played every Guilty Gear game out there. But from what I have played I kinda feel if you like one, you'll probably like all or at least most of them. If you like wacky fighters that actually play well, this is for you.

I don't have the Rev 2 update yet, but my version did include 3 DLC characters. I'll probably wait for the Rev 2 update to go on sale.
