i'm currently searching for AES's to buy focusing on the 3-6 model. I was wondering how accurate are the serial numbers on the bottom of the AES are to suggest it is a 3-6 ?

i have tried to talk to 3 ebay stores and got no response or a reply where it seemed a language barrier problem. What i wanted them to do is use a flash light and look through the Cart Slot door to see the Motherboard Revision on the PCB.

i have seen on 2 websites serials above 170,000 and 200,000 are 3-6's. If i were to buy AES's over 200,000 would it be concrete it will be a 3-6 ?

Serial numbers are not reliable. You will find general guidelines posted online, but it's anyone's guess in the end.
