This. The 3D classic series is awesome and justifies the purchase of a 3DS imo.
Even if I can only play in 2D?

I rarely ever use the 3D. But it works better on the New 3DS and I find myself turning it on more often.
Outrun & Afterburner are well worth the money, 60FPS, play better than all the other ports, maybe even edging out the Sega Ages for Saturn.
All games are playable in 2D. The only ones that really miss the 3D games which require precise movement in 3D space such as Ace Combat, Super Mario 3D Land, Sonic Lost World, Pilotwings Resort, etc. The 3D really helps you judge distances more accurately.I hear a lot of people saying they never/rarely use the 3D. I feel like I'd end-up the same way, but I'm curious if it's ever needed to get through some games. Does the 2DS make certain games unplayable? Or even less playable?
The Sega Classics Collection Vol 2 has Fantasy Zone II along with a few goodies. The game came out awesome, perfect for the 3DS.
