Hi,

I recently picked up a MV-IC card reader pcb and finally tried it out tonight but the memory card doesn't seem to be recognized.
I have connected the 2 60way harness that (I think) link respectively first 2 slots and last 2 slots. The memory card works fine on AES system.

Am I missing a cable or something else I didn't see?

Thanks

Try cleaning the contacts on the cart reader. Get a piece of paper soaked in alcohol rub it between the rows of pins to clean it out. These usually come from cabs that were sitting in dirty/smoky arcades for decades, the pins are bound to be filthy.

Might not hurt to shine a light in there and make sure all the pins are intact.

What he said and be sure to check the traces.I have one now where TOO MANY traces/connections were broken. The rust on mine should have been the giveaway...

It's most likely needing more power. Use the 4 pin JST header to connect it.
