Showing on FS1 and Univision in the EEUU.

Mexico will be without Tecatico, but will have the triforce of Vela, Dos Santos, and Chicharito.

USA eyes will be on Pulisic, but it keep an eye on Bobby Wood and Nagbe, who should be starting tonight.

Prediction: 3-0 Mexico - MVP: Wondolowski, who has the touch of a gorilla.

Insert average 'defensive wall' joke.

Unfortunately, the US looked like crap, overall, in this game, albeit on the road in front of a raucous crowd.

MX had seventy-two percent of possession! Although, they only had one, successful, shot on goal. Thirty-five year old, former National team retiree, DeMarcus Beasley looked bad as did Yeadlin, early on. Cameron was pretty solid.

Bradley's forty yard chip goal and his later twenty+ yard shot denied by the post are basically the hallmarks of a team that couldn't push forward enough to get a whiff of the box.

Pulisic was largely absent from the night's events. Scrubs like Altidor were non-factors.

If we qualify for the 2018 WC, it might be a real sad state of affairs with this transition team.

This ignores the blatant bias of the refs. Not one yellow called on Mexico. Bobby Wood has a black eye from the elbows Fabian kept throwing into his face. Every time old man Beasley had the ball, Layun would chop his legs. Pulisic looked good when he was able to get away from the defenders who where pulling him or blatantly pushing him to ground.

Mexico played dirty, the ref was worthless. It was frustrating to see the US treated like that, especially after the crowd booed the US national anthem.

The call Arenas had wrong was Wood over Altidore. Wood is all finesse, but Altidore is muscle and would have face fucked Fabian if he put an elbow near his eyes.

There always seems to be a problem with a lack of officiating in these games between the US and MX, especially when they take place in Estadio Azteca. So I left that unsaid.

We have players that play in major leagues around the the world, major competitions, and should know how to play physical and handle various levels of officiating.

This team has a few good pieces going forward and a lot of old and bad pieces right now and a pretty crappy coach.

I think that the US handled the officiating well. Mexico wanted the US to lash out. But the US kept it to a minimum, and refused to let Mexico dictate their behavior.

USA Mex games are usually a lot of fun to watch. This was a much better match than i expected. Dempsey needs to think about how he acted in the last game. That shit was why he sat out here.
