Subbed. I'll have to give them a watch sometime soon! I might discover some NG games I never really knew about before.

I've just subbed. I'll give them a watch soon. Considering all the retro gaming videos and channels on Youtube, there is very little Neo Geo related.

Nicely done! Count me in. It's refreshing to see more youtube content that talks about the games rather than just their price points. Keep it coming!

Thank you for the subs and kind words, folks!

If it were my goal to simply cover every game, I could just spend a few minutes on each game like Chrontendo does, but that wasn't my intention. I love his format too, but I wanted to go fully in-depth for each one. The Magician Lord review is nearly 30 minutes, so these are not slim overviews. I hope viewers don't mind all the detail. I wanted to be as comprehensive and entertaining as possible while providing personal anecdotes. So it's a lot of work to make one video.

Please keep the comments coming! And please comment and Like on Youtube. That helps get the videos placed higher.

I admire this. Ive wanted to do this for all the CD games but the undertaking is just to long and a lot of games like the fighters I simply dont enough at any deep enough level to give what i'd consider comprehesive reviews.

It's very much appreciated how you cover the differences between the cartridge and CD versions of the games.

I was planning to do fairly casual reviews of fighters, so I might find a consultant for insight into more in-depth fighting mechanics.

One part of the series I might tweak a bit is the NGCD segment I always do at the end. I thought it would be cool to give a close look at the CD versions because no one on Youtube really is, but I think this segment needs to be tightened up a bit.

I was hoping that would be appreciated. Thanks and you're welcome!

That's what I thought too, but I ended up enjoying it. Was planning a short review before that. Also ended up adding a whole rundown of the NGCD system after I realized it's the first game with an arranged soundtrack.

Just watched the Mahjong Kyoretsuden review. I love the fact that you compare the differences between the cartridge and the CD version. I also appreciate you spend the time to introduce the Majhong controller and mention the save and password features.

Mahjong Kyoretsuden is one of the reasons I wanted a Neo Geo back in the days. The music, the mood and the RPG element blew the competition away in 1990.

After your MagLord review, I think I'm going to give it another shot.

kitkit, that's interestint that Mahjong Kyoretsuden made you want a Neo Geo. I'll bet there are few here who can say that.

Magician Lord is not that hard once you've given it the time and patience to learn the levels and play through a couple times. Of course I'm talking about the home version.
