Winback. Possibly the thing that saved the 64 for me. I loved that game. Koei decided to knock off metal gear. And made a game that had good controls, smooth graphics, an easy ui, great gameplay, and some tough bosses. If Nintendo do a 64 mini I hope it's expandable like the nes one is. Because I'd be adding that game. I know it wouldn't make the cut.

I thought I was the only one that liked this game.

Although it was more a Syphon Filter knockoff, which was an MGS knockoff.

I doubt Winback holds up at all though, like 99% of N64 stuff.

Kill.Switch was much better, and on MUCH better systems than the N64.

I truly don't think this will happen, and if/when the time comes for them to revisit their N64 classics, it'll probably come in the form of an eShop sale, rather than a standalone console.

The famously challenging Rogue Squadron may be a good one to include. My brother got all golds in that one somehow, back in the day. I could never of been that determined with it.

This has no relevance, as all the best games for N64 came out on Wii Virtual Console:

Mario Kart
Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Calibur
Super Mario 64
Paper Mario

Well, Crusin USA didn't come out

If this shit's real, they better come out with a Bulky Storage Drive attachment.

Unlike the SNES and NES Classics, I would be potentially interested in an N64 Classic. I never got into the N64 back in the day and my collection is relegated to 5 games:

Star Fox
Resident Evil 2
Shadows of the Empire
Jet Force Gemini
Golden Eye

Every time I see this thread, I can't help but remember how much I want to get the 64DD for all the Mario Paint apps.

That would be a solid lineup. I'd maybe add Majora's Mask. I don't think the Rare games would make it which sucks.

Pokemon Stadium Club 2 is still the best Pokemon console game - nostalgia points not included.

The Cruisn' games hold up well too.

I know it's fun to hate on the 64. Hating on everything is fun, apparently. Nevertheless, there are still a good number of fun titles that can be enjoyed today. All 297 don't have to be winners.

My wish list is easy, please upgrade everything to 60fps. Rest is fine, I like the blur and can get along with blocky, just do it w/o traulism.

What was the best basketball game on N64? I would think it would be NBA Courtside by Left Field, but wanted to know what others thought.
