Cabling issues when repairing Neo Geo Bean Controller

I identified that the cable was bad and that's why Left wasn't working. i purchased a cable from eBay and did the replacement today. I'm now having issues with....

Up = B
B = Up

Now you'd like just switch those too, right? Not working, but I realized when conducting continuity on the AES stick before hand that three wires were not used on my new cable, one being the extra "D" and two being unused per the pinout, so that shouldn't matter at all.

I'll double check my work tomorrow night, but I was wondering if anyone did this replacement before and had notes on the pinouts of the controller board when replacing the wires.

are you sure you didnt switch the wiring when you installed? it seem you just switched those two wires

I'm hoping I did, I went to switch this two and something else didn't work. The wires in this cable is shit and there's only six colors for all 15 wires.... I'm going to double check tonight. Both Days aren't needed are they?
