This is not a secret, but I didn't want to create a new thread just for that, so here's an amusing glitch from Real Bout Fatal Fury:

I wonder if it's because of the emulation and the platform it's running on, or can this be done on Neo.

Edit: I see this guy is posting glitches and other weird stuff from fighting games, so every now and then SNK's titles do come up:

Some of these are pretty funny, but look tool assisted.

This one is interesting. Does it really reset the Neo?

Possibly the EX characters in Real Bout Special. I was the only one that knew how to unlock them at the arcades thanks to a magazine.

Bit of a necrobump but... oh well, let's see...

2 secret things that I encountered while playing Samsho 2 on arcades and both times when the CPU left me on "stun".
I started smashing the buttons and moving the stick in order to fast recover and I managed to turn my char into a plushie... and the 2nd time I was using Haohmaru and along with all that button mashing I got to do his special movement with multiple "shoryuken", the movement that became a SDM on Samsho 3.

Both times I freaked out lol especially with the plushie thing because the CPU ofc killed me because I couldn't move :keke:

You pulled off a tenpafuuzinsan. It’s pretty easy if you do hcbx3+bc

In SS3 there are hidden animations for decapitations. Every character had the ability to be decapitated, but there is no known unlock to make it happen in the game, 22 years later.

Found this video around SS2. Even though I don't understand Spanish I can figure out most of it

Dont know if this is common knowledge but on AES ( i think works on CD too) you can play with blood and english text when entering options and select country japan and go out. Then reenter options and select USA.

Ok there's a rooster that will follow you right up till the boss at the end of the first stage in Metal Slug. It will even walk up the little waterfalls. Someone at Nazca had a very specific sense of humour.

So the two that really stand out to me as being awesome secrets are:

Ryo being in Fatal Fury Special

Playing as the Referee (Kuroko) in Samurai Shodown series

So which secrets or hidden characters or levels etc did you like the most. Which made you smile? Which were a dream come true? Which ones surprised you the most?
The secret in KOF '94 where Rugal's pet puma jumps out from the background and attacks you. It's quite rare, I've only had it happen once.
There is the fish (final) boss in Aero Fighters 2. It's much rarer than the other two types of bosses you can get, and it doesn't shoot at you (!), so it's easy to beat.
Also, Geese Howard's appearance in Art of Fighting 2. I like the background and the music, although Geese himself is too difficult to beat.

I thought the double jump glitch for Magician Lord was pretty cool. It was good to learn something new about a game that I have played for so long.
