Wayne Bridge and I will miss him greatly.

Bets on which MLS side he ends-up?

What's even more interesting is that apparently no MLS teams were considering signing him.

Captain, leader, legend and all that jazz, but damn, JT's greatest hits are awful. Between Wayne Bridge's wife, the 9/11 incident, and his UCL finals moments, the man will live in some football infamy.

Still, he had a heck of a career, and had my favorite goal-line clearance of all time in a '06 WC game.

36 years the moment when money is more important than reputation.
Another go-getter trying to make fortune in Asia or any other exotic place.

I don't remember Drogba taking a huge hit in reputation for going to China. If you're getting offered crazy money at that point in your career, why not?

Here's that clearance I mentioned:
Eh, not as good as I remember it, but full speed would probably make a difference.

Terry is a fucking legend. Wayne bridge's ex girlfriend bullshit is just that. Bullshit. Stepping into goal, after cech's head injury, lifting trophy after trophy. Any club would have been happy to have him in his prime. And I don't know where he will wind up, but I hope it's on sky sports for a bit. Bring a little blue flag to that red coated punditry.

I forgot about the former, but about the latter: any thoughts on him changing from suit to full kit to celebrate winning the UCL? I thought it was awkward to say the least, but somewhat understandable.

OH, GAWD, THE RACISM!! I forget about the Ferdinand's.

But as Cole (allegedly) said, "You don't talk to JT like that!"

Of course I would do the same in a similar situation.

Money is money but it doesn't mean that a true legend that already has won a big bunch of $€ just retires from his lovely football club without playing in any other one and fans will have these memories forever recorded in their thoughts

Maybe I'm just a romantic and I would appreciate someone doing that

This just in: over sensitive Americans get butt hurt over September 11th joke. Get the fuck out. JT forever.

BLUE IS THE COLOUR!!!!

And as for being kitted out under his presentation suit just to life the trophy. That takes balls.

OJ Simpson murders his wife, then tries to rob a casino and he's still in the NFL hall of fame. Ray Lewis murders someone and is a strong contender for a gold jacket. John Terry fucks an underwear model, and cracks a couple of jokes and people think he's some sort of black balled failure of an athlete. His resume speaks for itself. And he has never had to hire a team of lawyers to get him out of murder charges. Keep things in perspective. No real criminal activity to speak of. Some naughty antics, and a career that any player would give their nuts for. Just goes to show how the media can crucify someone over what is bullshit

Kim, I ktbffh on EBJT, too.

On the field, he was great. LEGENDARY at times. Off the field? He's no role model, simply put. And that assertions not just for JT, either, but in this thread, I expect the criticisms.

I am a Rangers, Liverpool, Eintracht, Lazio, Benfica, and Union fan.

I am sure a lot of these guys are ego-inflated jerks, JT seems to personify the part for me, always has.
