Hello,
Sorry, but I am new to all of this so forgive me.
I need help to ID the board for this monitor for repairs.
I may be wrong but I think it is http://therealbobroberts.net/monitor78.html

It has an issue with color being muddy and it being dark so I figured the usual cap replacement that I hear about. If anyone can suggest a kit or know what else it might be I would be eternally grateful.

Also curious what those 2 knobs do in the pics.

The top knob iso for the focus the bottom one is for the screen. Did you adjust the monitor before trying a cap kit?
If it's to dark set the brightness knob to the middle position then adjust the screen but be gentle with the screen knob it's very sensitive. There should also be three extra knows for the blue gain, red gain and green gain on the neck board.

What do you mean by screen, what exactly does it adjust?
I did try to adjust the monitor, I tried adjusting but had no success. (I don't think it had rbg knobs, but I will update when I get back home.)

Screen is like a master brightness setting. Basically it adjust how high the brightness setting can go.

Well some monitors have two sets of Rgb knobs one on the remote board or in front of the chassis the other set is on the neckboard. The one on the neckboard are called rgb gain and it's like a master setting.

For the knobs do I assume turning left is turning down? I was going to start at 0 and bring it up slowly.

I see what you mean now, I got a much better picture but it's still kinda wavy. The big issue is that one side of the screen is darker, and if I turn the brightness up the other half gets a really noticeable red hue. It has a wave to it on the side that gets the hue/right side. Any idea on how to fix that?
