Hello,

A friend of mine opened his Twinkle Star Sprites AES and found this:

His question is, "Is my game legit?"

I mention a few important things:

- Eproms are MVS ones (known as)
- White jumpers
- presence of a gate that is not necessary
- he also says solderings looks different colors depending if there's an eprom or an empty space.

Thanks to anyone who could share their informations/impressions on this aes game.

I don't have closer pictures, but try to check for consistency.

Looks like Atro's pic has a white jumper on the PROG board as well - that was my main red flag. As such, OP's cart looks legit to me - mask ROMs and wave soldering.

The white jumper is just an upside down jumper. It works the same both ways.

There are no EPROMs on those photos. The mask ROMs for AES and MVS games are identical. I'm no expert on AES bootlegs but those chips don't look hand soldered to me, though it could be a 99.9% accurate conversion. How does the artwork look on the box and cart?

It's fine with insert and manual, while my friend says me he has doubts about the sticker.
