Chemical weapons have been purportedly used before from the news I've read of the last few years, no US action like we've seen here has been taken.

That's because those other chemical weapons usage in Syria were carried out by the terrorists.

Meh, downing civilian airliners is old hat. We did it 30 years ago with Iran Air 665 (655? 556? 566?), even the Russians got into the game with MH17.

Plus Tomahawks are for ground targets aren't they? Need some SAMs. Let's FOIA request all of Air Force One's countermeasures and have those installed on fleet aircraft, then we can really have some exciting flights.
