Just in case you don't follow the toys thread... Figma is releasing a pair of new King of Fighters 98 super poseable figures. Some pics of Kyo below.

No Polnare... I mean Benimaru.

But yeah Figmas are pretty good quality. I have a few figmas, but my favorites are definitely Roger Smith from Big O, Lum from Urusei Yatsura, and Varia Suit Samus.

I was just talking to a Japanese guy who works at Figma who is on this project for these two figures... if sales are good on these two, that will help green light more SNK NeoGeo figures! He's still hush hush though on what NeoGeo characters would be next. I'm hoping for Genjuro from Samurai Spirits haha.

I want to be excited about these, but something in both designs feels a bit off to me. Not an instant buy like other figmas I've come across. I might try Iori and hope that they cover more SNK territory later. If they make more, you can bet your life that Mai is next.

I did like how the handled the Nendoroid versions, both Mai and Kyo looked great:

These look really cool, would love it if they did a Tizoc or Kaede with super saiyan replaceable head.

I never buy stuff like this anymore though.

yeah, if these were released ten/twenty years ago, i would be saving money to buy them. but now i wouldn't even take them for free. because they would probably eventually just end up in the bin.

Hell yah! I love the KOF games and Kyo is one of my favorite character.
