I have an Irritating Maze cart and a trackball and desperately want to play it properly but have been looking for a kit for years to no avail...

Is there any way that something can be made up to allow these to interface without the original bundled PCB... is the board just providing an analogue to digital conversion and so can this be replicated another way..?

Has anyone ever mapped the schem for it so a repro could be made..?

I think the PCB also controls air and a few other things that are in the IM cab. I'm not sure.

Cheers mate.

Do you know if there is a way to either bypass/build a simple circuit to hook a trackball up to a motherboard..?

I was going to build a neo Geo arcade stick + track ball for this game, but I never got around to it. Good luck.

You can build the steering wheel to jamma board by Nightmare Tony. Use the unibios to put it in joystick mode. I just built one myself, it kind of work. It's not as smooth as the og board.
