Can this gate be swapped for the square one inside?

Yep the middle bit comes out. By default all JLF sticks have the square gate I think, especially in stock/unmodified sticks.

If you talking about the "green goblin" DC stick, that ain't a JLF in there.

yeah, that will not fit on the stock stick in the GG. But its is stupid easy to throw a jlf and some good buttons in there

i saw this vid, should be good to go. Been about 8 years since i modded one of these. Its not a bad mod though

Awesome thanks. Not sure the best method to widen the button holes for 30mm and I'm a bit unclear on what to do with ground wires. Thanks

Just use a dremel. You wanna open up the button holes like 1 - 2 mm. Just open it little by little until the button fits. Screw type might work better but snapins are good too, just don't open them too much or snapins might fit loose.

If it is in good condition you should consider selling the Agetec stick you own and buy any other stick (for the enclosure) plus encoder (or do a padhack for DC), Agetecs have gone up in price quite some.
