Chronicles of Mystara on Wii U (sale... filter?)

Okay, so it seems like chronicles of mystara is at the moment for sale at 75% off on wii u store. at less than 5 euros its tempting.

However. on screenshots it seems to have some sort of ugly filter going on and they claim that makes the graphics "hd".

Has anyone by chance bought that game and if so, can the ugly filter be turned off?

Get the one on steam, ps3, or xbox.

yeah pretty much. i dont think i have it on Wii U yet since i dont have one but id like to get it on all platforms before it inevitably gets delisted.

also yeah that filter is annoying. I have the US and JP retail version of the game and both have this problem. i even tried hooking up my PS3 up to my pvm via RGB SCART and even then it doesnt look very good.

better to just play the Saturn version or play on Wii via retroarch...but then you lose online play so eh....

So... Steam version then, can you at least disable filter on that one? (if it even has one) of course the whole point of 75% off goes through the window there for now.
