Hi, my CMVS 4 slots is crapping out :crying:
When turned on it randomly displays a not solid fixed color screen.
Something went wrong with the PSU as I couldn't power up the board anymore and tried with another PSU which brought me to this situation thus far.
Display via RGB, flowing current 2.3A, Random colors at each boot.
Caps visually check ok.

Any advice on where to start looking?

2.3A is not enough for an MV4.

Try something more powerful.

The PSU can deliver up to 6A.
2.3A is a reading of the current flowing during boot up (using a clamp meter)

Then I don't know.

I once had a very week supergun that had a 3A +5V rail and it could boot any MV1 I tried. I once tried an MV4 on it and it just stuck like that with a garbage pink screen.

False alarm, it was only a bad capacitor at the +5v input.
