Hello,

I've been trying to hook up my PS One and Gamecube to the Sony PVM 2043 MD, but with no result. For both consoles I used composite cables going through RCA/Scart switch (a simple one like this:rcascart-500x500.jpg) to a Scart/BNC connector (with no built in sync separator if it does matter) to RGB line on the monitor. What can be wrong? The PVM should be ok, my Mega Drive works just fine.

For Gamecube, use an S-video cable direct to the monitor.

For PS One, get this and use with your SCART BNC adapter.

That adapter doesn't magically convert composite to RGB. You need actual RGB scart cables for the PS1. If your Gamecube is PAL you can get a RGB scart cable for it too, if it's NTSC you'll need to go straight svideo unless you feel like dropping several hundred dollars on a component cable.
