Looks really sweet mate!

Good to see a 3DO there which has special memories for me when I played on my mates brothers when road rash was released. I dont think Ive ever been more gob smacked by the graphical leap to that from the megadrive. It has a few gems which if not including a PC only came out for that system such as star control 2 and sherlock holmes plus the best versions of wing commander 3 and the original need for speed. I got a bit giddy and ended up with the panasonic, goldstar and sanyo systems!

That's excellent. A very nice, clean and stylish room. Full of gaming kit without looking like a teenagers bedroom, nicely done.

Thanks, I love my 3DO... my friend owned one but I never did until they stopped producing games (think it was 1999 or something like that when I got one).

I've only 20 odd games but all of them are fantastic and well worth the RGB mod.

My favourites are Super Street Fighter II, Physic Detective, American Laser Games releases, Demolition Man, Need for Speed and Road rash :)

Cheer Steve, the rooms done now but really looking forward to the arcade...will be next year when it's done though :( But all good things come to those who wait right?

Thanks, I was going for a clean look with no clutter... Only issue is, i've limited myself to just those 3 bookcases for games... which I suppose is no bad thing in someways.

Looks good man, what are you using for the mood lighting?

Thanks, they're from Amazon and called ingkamョ Waterproof 5M 5050 SMD RGB Led Strips Lighting Full Kit

What a nice room, I really like this alcove and how you used it for a little desktop privacy.

Then there's the well conceived entrance: you open the door and the first thing you'll see are those gorgeously nature-lit glass-cabinets full of time and effort you put into hunting them goodies down in the virtual jungle.

There's of course the cornerstone of any nutritious game room, a simple, yet comfy sofa and tubes wherever you look. Damn, I'm perceivably sitting there already ;).

Cool space K1ngArth3r, thanks for sharing!

I'd love a close up on the neo carts too. Sure, I've seen them all a thousand times before, but it's just like porn - the same thing in a slightly different setting and all the old excitement rushes back.

Thanks for your kind words, I wanted to create a none cluttered space in which mainly focused on playing the games rather than a big room just for storing them.

I had to sell off a load of games from other system to achieve this but think it's worth it.

Thanks, yeah I had the chance to completely gut the room, plaster / floor everything and while it was being re-furbished I had chance to spend a while on the planning to make the most out of the space.

I'm pleased I went with this design, although there isn't a tonne of room for 1000's of games, the space i've created for playing the games is perfect for me :)

I agree on the Monkey Island poster, it's massive and love looking at it :)

Thanks a lot, I love point and click adventure games, and these two have some great artwork don't they :)

What a nice, clean and user friendly environment. You're lucky to have all this space for your stuff. Really like the various monitors disposition, it seems like a retro party is about to start.;)

Thanks for the comments, i'm lucky you're right, the room sizes in the house are very generous :)

I love having all the monitors on at the same time, not yet had a party yet though - Hoping to have friends over soon.

I wish I could keep my setup that clean and tidy.

Well it's still quite new so let's see if I can keep it like this :)

Cheers Marc, I've gone from having a room with both arcade and consoles to two separate rooms which took some getting used too.

I really like the new games room, if you want to see my old room you can see it here:

I sold my Electrocoin last year before moving house but now have the MVS-4-25 Version 3 US cab (See recent pick up thread) thats the cab I remember playing at a bowling alley... Mission complete for finding my dream NEO-GEO cab as far as i'm concerned :D
