Issue with Famicom ED and Expansion Audio on a Sharp Twin

I have a Famicom Everdrive that doesn't play expansion audio for Gimmick or CV3(J) on 2 different Sharp Twin Famicoms. Legit carts for both games sound fine on the Twin. ED expansion audio sounds fine on original or AV Famicom. Anyone else have a problem with this hardware combo?

Try turning the audio mix volume on hi in the N8's menu.

I found that I have to switch the audio mix to LO when playing on my famiclone (original famicom chip-by-chip clone) and switch it back to HI when playing on my AV Famicom. Have you tried both settings on your Sharp?

Finally got around to testing this. Switching Hi to Lo shows no change.
