CPS2 Sound Issues

I was just given a US CPS2 A board because it's not putting out any audio except from the right side through the RCA jack. The game wIl also rest at times I was told. I have not seen this problem occur yet. I checked the audio settings and it's set correctly on stereo Q Sound also. Any ideas if the issue could be possibly from bad caps on the audio section of the A board?

Here is something you may want to try, channelmaniac stated this

Push and hold the volume down button and keep holding it while powering up the board. Keep it held until you get the boot screen for the game. This resets what it thinks the volume levels are.

Once you get the game booted try to turn the volume up.

For some reason I get carts that do it from time to time on my testbed motherboard. I think it's just the nature of CPS2.

The resets could have been an issue with the power levels being supplied to the board. If you haven't seen any issues after running the game for a while, you should be all set.
