[Solved] Phoenix cps2 board blue sceen (well grey in my case)

A little back story. I have a CPS2 B board rev 3. The guy said it was working but wanted to Phoenix it anyway. He order a set of roms from X and installed it. He was greeted with a solid colour. I now have it and have done all the usual. Short cap cc1, exc1-5, reset all the roms and reprogram all the Eprom for good measure. I use the suicide test rom v2 and it show every thing as good. Any ideas on this one?

Even though the original decrypted rom came from a reliable source. We both downloaded the same file. Burn 03 and 04 from another source. It's all good now. I guess I'll be sending a bug report.

Those damn CPS2 B-boards...

I also had a perfectly running phoenixed AVP untill it died in action a few weeks ago.
It shown first a minor graphical glitch, so I immediatelly turned off the cab. I tried on my Supergun and all I got was a random solid color. I'm getting tired of it...
