Phoenixed CPS2 Board Red Screen

Alright, so I finally got A boards so I could hook up my shit. Hook up this phoenixed Puzzle Fighter and it just shows a red screen. Google-fu suggested that putting light pressure on the case where the contacts connect might work, but nothing.

Any other suggestions?

Did you remove the battery properly and waited for the capacitors to discharge before trying the board?

I bought it phoenixed from someone else, and it was working prior to me receiving it. I've never even opened it.

I had this problem... you are going to have to short a capacitor on the Phoenixed board.
Do a search for Phoenixed CPS 2 short the capacitor.
