Is it possible to win the t-shirt in the arcade Vindicators?

I was playing this in MAME earlier today. I played two challenge levels in the latter half of the game where you can win the t-shirt, and I'm not convinced it's possible. I was even using cheats and plowing the everloving shit through the level, and I couldn't do it in the time limit. If I was lucky enough to grab the key on my way up to the end in my first attempt, I would have still been some distance short of the end.

I know the offer's not valid anymore, so it's not possible to win the shirt at all, but is it possible to complete the level?

I had a look on others arcade forums and the Vindicators t-shirt seems to exist.

Vindicators is awesome. I also love the Tengen NES port.
