I'm not sure what you're talking about; there should just be a board with a wire attached.

...did I accidentally include a part from something else in the bag?

I've found a small mistake in the CPS2VGA firmware, for the few people who ordered those. I goofed and the data bus is ordered incorrectly for 15KHz modes. For 480p VGA and Component, it's not a problem, but for 15KHz RGB and Component the display will look strange. I've already fixed the firmware, and will pay shipping for anyone who wants to send the boards back to be reflashed (with or without an A-board attached).

Hey Mike, thanks again! Works great on my AES! (Just need to find my dremel now so I can mod the case.)

Cheers!

This pic was from a AES SN x2xxxx series. (So 20k~30k series I believe is a 3-3 or 3-4)

Hopefully we can get more AES input from others to see if it's the same across multiple hardware revisions.

Cheers

Hey Mike,

Got mine, awesome! Thanks again for everything.

Would it be possible to wire for both component out and VGA out? So I could have both a VGA port and component RCA plugs on the back of the console I'm building?

Thanks,
Colin

Yes -- You'll need to hook up a switch to the YPbPr and 15K jumpers.

EDIT: For a cleaner design and to save yourself some work, you can use the single VGA port and use a VGA-to-Component breakout cable. You'll still need the switches though.

And we're back! I'm moved in to my apartment and can do fun stuff again, like putting together a second order.

Firmware update on the 2nd batch ?

A second run so quickly is a dream comes true for a starting CMVS project...

This project is great and need advertising...

Hi mikejmoffitt,

You talked in the development thread about a VGA to HDMI adaptator.
Which one would be better ?

Thanks for your help

Going back in my PM history I only see one, which I'd missed. I can include you in the next order, sorry for missing your PM.
And I emailed you :D No matter what, I would be in for one of the next batch, or even the one after that ... thanks man.
