were they released in english on an actual disc?
I see them on PSN, but no go on the physical.

The PSP ones got physical releases in Japan but not the U.S.
The Vita one got a physical release in the U.S. There is also an upcoming physical 3DS version coming out in the U.S. this summer.

Seems like a lot of the shooters are kinda pricey, Gradius is still cheap on Amazon so I'll pick that one up. Probably set on games for awhile now.

Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast is definitely worth playing. I also recommend modding it with custom firmware and putting the CPS1/2 emulator's in it. They work great.

CFW should be mandatory. Its super easy, there is basically no reason not to.

No doubt. It's really made the PSP my favorite handheld as of late. The NGCD emulator for it us great as well. Can't go wrong with Neo Drift Out on the go :D

the psp ones need to be done via psn. then because the shop for psp is down, uploaded via usb.

Brandish! Pretty sure it's on PSN but it's also playable in Japanese if you can find a physical copy for cheap.
