Not a baller but the PSP is one of my personal favorite hand helds around.

Not all are "hidden" but some of my favs are:

Gurumin
FF7 Crisis Core
Half Minute Hero
Brandish (digital only)
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (has been re-released though)
Ys Chronicles
Ys Oath in Felghana
Ys Seven (if you can't tell I like Falcom)
Ultimate GnG
Prinny Can I Be the Hero

Great list. Not much I could add to that. Maybe a couple Jpn titles:

Gunhound EX
Higurushi no Naku Koro ni: Jan (mahjong, but great if you can play)
Hokuto no Ken Raoh Gaiden Ten no Haoh (fun fighter based on the anime)
Soreyuke! BurunyanMan Portable

Couple US ones I still think were great:

Silent Hill Origins
Generation of Chaos: Pandora's Reflection

Just picked up Loco Roco 1 and 2. Those are cute little gems that I missed back in the day. Now I am hunting for Patapons.

I randomly grabbed Loco Roco 2 on clearance at Target back in the day. I had no idea what it was, but hey, $5. It's one of my favorite games on the system. If you look up "charm" in the dictionary you see a pic of the game.

Patta patta patta pon.

Yeah all those games are good, and most importantly, cheap Af

Gungnir is the best hidden gem for PSP. A late release tactical RPG that does its own thing, hard as nails and better than more popular choices such as Jeanne D'arc.

I like the 2 Metal Gear Solid Acid games. It is weird to play MGS with cards.

I'm by no means a PSP baller, I only have about 5 games total but the system itself is awesome. I'll probably pick u a bunch of the must haves for cheap since the system is still for the most part relatively affordable.

Same here. I picked up another CIB model 1000 for $30 with a few crappy games. I don't know why my original PSP with CFW's buttons are not working, seems to be a common problem, so I am just going to start buying the good games while they are still cheap.

Not sure if it's a hidden gem or not, but Ikki Tousen: Xross Impact is one of my favorites on the system. If you enjoy capcom vs-style tag combos and sengoku 3's combat pacing, it is worth a serious look. It's based on the ikki tousen anime series so your tolerance of cheese/fan service will be put to the test, but it really is a fantastic modern beat em up with lots of content, unlockable moves, and playable characters. The psp ikki tousen games were made by tamsoft who would go on to make the Senran Kagura series (and they developed the Onechanbara games as well). Featuring a tag system and attackk assists, each character also levels up individually and combos really start to open up once the characters are sufficiently leveled up. Tons of replayability and one of my favorite beat em ups of all time.

I've got a couple PSP systems. They haven't had much love recently. Well until I randomly grabbed a PSP fat that someone was literally going to toss out. The shell is trashed but it works fine.

Anyone know (trust) a vendor that makes quality reproduction housing? I was thinking about going completely clear... but I've been reading about how bad the replacement shells and buttons fit.
