Samurai Shodown II, spent hours playing this game in the arcade.
If I wasn't playing Samsho II, I was most likely playing Aero Fighters II.

Both are excellent games that everyone should play and play.

I pretty much like/love all those games except Gururuin and the ones I haven't really played much/at all (Fight Fever and Zed Blade).

If I had to pick just one, give me SS2. Tough choice though.

Sam Sho 2. Nothing else registered for a long time. I got into KoF 94 in 1995.

94 was an absolute wonderful year for the SNK.

Altough, I find 93 to be better. It launched the Neo to an other level.

Samurai Shodown, Fatal Fury Special, Spin Master were amazing.
And the first Sidekicks is still the best of 'em all. ;)

Can I get some love for Puzzle Bobble?

For me it ticks all the boxes just like Tetris. You could sit an alien in front of the screen and they'd instantly understand the point of the game and be able to play it.

Pure programming genius imo.

Samurai Shodown II would be enough on its own, but Karnov and Windjammers are huge favorites of mine too.

a lot of games from this list are very good but i got to go with kof 94 hands down. This was one of the games that got me started into gaming in the first place. I missed the days going to the swap meet with my parents seeing kof 94 and a bubble bobble cab next to each other. Meeting up with the other kids and getting down on some kof brings back some good memories.

Without a doubt, that game was the biggest reason why i got into neo.

Poor KOF94 doesn't get the love it deserves. My first Neo game and still one of my favorites, it just oozes style, and the music is fantastic.

SS2 is also stellar, of course.

I think at that time Samurai Shodown II and KOF '94 were probably the ones that stood out the most at the arcades. I have fond memories of Windjammers too though. 1994 was a great year.

Aside from SNK I remember 1994 as the year of SSFIIT, X-Men Children of the Atom, Dungeons & Dragons, Night Warriors, Darius Gaiden, Fantastic Parodius... so many greats. Samurai Shodown II blew me away though.

It's gotta be SamSho 2 for me, it's one of my favourite Neo games, but Wimdjammers is great too.
