These were pretty cool. I remember being five and playing this game at Shoney's. Is Shoney's still alive. I was shit and usually died around the underwater level.

Shoneys rules. There's one in Myrtle Beach I always hit when I'm down that way. All you can eat meatloaf!

They always did the breakfast bar on Saturday nights for the longest time around here. Get you some pancakes, biscuits, and like 8 pounds of barely cooked bacon while you are there.

I can't handle meat loaf. My mom always made it as a "special" dinner, and to me it always just seemed an abomination. Meat bread shouldn't be a thing.

My mom never cooked meatloaf. So I went 20 years without meatloaf until eating it at a restaurant. It's pretty good.

Also, I almost spelled it meatload, but then I didn't.

Most meatloaf is bad. But when it's good, it's the best.

Fun fact: Super Mario Land was the very first game I purchased with my own money. It also has to be one of the games I've spent the most time playing.

I still keep a Gameboy on my side table and run through Mario Land frequently.

Super Mario Land was the first game I ever played. I still try to go through it a few times a year.

Super Mario land was fun for the time and one of the better early games.

But the sequels are way better. Even if they didn't have a shooting level.

Awesome game indeed, I can still hum the melody of the pyramid levels. Gunpei did an excellent job here, though Miyamoto-san wasn't amused to gave his Mario into Yokoi's hands. Yet, it's because of those differences in the production, that this Mario stands out. Those shooting levels are really unforgettable.
