Changing glass on a candy cab: anything I need to know?

It's all in the title. Has anyone here changed glass in a candy cab before? Anything I should keep in mind outside of getting a slab of glass cut to size?

That glass is really just a monitor, it's not a glass window into the beyond.

Depends on what cab you have. A lot of the older metal candies have a piece of tinted/ regular glass over the monitor.

My advice would be to use plexi instead of real glass. You can get it with a slight tiny and it will really make the colors pop on the monitor.

plexi is better than real glass huh? i would imagine the real glass would be more clear/less prone to tiny scratches
