There is a post going around about most common AES bootlegs. I am curious about the most common MVS boots.

Anything rare and easy to boot.

Neo Bomberman
Garou (we've witnessed custom boards built to run this game)
Bust-a-Move (for obvious reasons)
Zupapa (requires FIO board, but you can wire up an encoder chip to use eproms)
Nightmare in the Dark (has decrypted roms for awhile now)

Check our mvs-scans to see more.

Add Ganryu to this list.

Well someone is now a happy owner of a bootleg....no picture of the boards - no deal. Is it common for sellers to refuse to show mvs boards?

It's more common to not see board photos I think. If people don't know how to open them they can cause a crease on the label. Really, board pics aren't necessary, a skilled person can tell from looking through the vents with a flash light.

Yeah, I find it funny how little people actually research before actually purchasing their games. People have huge hard-ons for Neo Bomberman and scoop it all day. However, you mostly see the boots with the nice English label and English art set. However, these dudes fail to realize the game was only released in Japan so in the very least the label and art set are repros/ fake.

I'd also say adding:

King of Fighters 2003
Metal Slug 4
Metal Slug 5
SvC Chaos

should be added to the list. The games came out more towards the end of life cycle of the NG and you can find more boots than you know what to do with.
